With the presser foot pressure adjustment, you can sew from very thin fabrics that slide easily thanks to the metal sewing area, to thicker fabrics. Among its 23 stitches you will find the buttonhole in 1 step to obtain consistent results every time. Its horizontal bobbin system is not only easy to thread, but it will also allow you to see the amount of thread so that you don't run out halfway through your sewing.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
